Great South West Housing Investment Prospectus 2025

We were commissioned by the Great South West Pan RegionalPartnership to develop the copy for a housing investment prospectus, launchedat UKREiiF, the UK’s leading real estate and infrastructure investmentconference.

The prospectus aimed to showcase strategic housingdevelopment opportunities across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and parts ofSomerset. It needed to be investor-focused, easy to navigate, and consistent inhow it presented diverse projects from multiple local authorities. Crucially,it had to bridge the gap between public sector priorities and private sectorexpectations.

To streamline the process and ensure broad participation, wecreated a standardised submission form for councils. This allowed each localauthority to submit key information in a structured, low-effort way, reducingtheir workload and ensuring consistency across entries. Using this input, wecrafted clear, compelling copy for each featured opportunity. Our focus was ontranslating local authority objectives and technical detail into language andframing that aligned with investor interests, highlighting the commercialpotential, strategic relevance, site readiness, and regional growth context.

The final prospectus combined strategic regional narrativewith individual site showcases, designed to help investors quickly assessopportunities and understand their value. The design and tone wereintentionally practical, accessible, and geared toward sparking furtherconversation. This project required more than copywriting. At the core, itdemanded the ability to translate between two sectors that often struggle tocommunicate effectively. We helped local government tell its story in termsthat resonate with investors.

The prospectus was successfully launched at UKREiiF 2024,positioning the Great South West as a proactive, opportunity-rich region ready for housing investment.
